Simple Wedding Photography Prices — No Surprises
Most London and UK wedding photographers charge a fixed package price usually between £1,500 and £2,500 for a full day whether you need all those hours or not. At HOBS FILMS our wedding photography prices in London work differently. We charge £80 per hour after the first hour, so you only pay for the time you actually need.
The first hour is £180. Every hour after that is £80. A 2-hour registry office booking comes to £260. A 5-hour half-day package is £500. A full 10-hour wedding day is £900. That is less than many London wedding photographers charge for 4 or 5 hours.
All our wedding photography packages include professionally edited, high-resolution digital photos, a password-protected online gallery, full copyright, and all UK travel. There are no extras hidden in the small print.
Wedding videography in London and the UK is available from £100 per hour as a standalone service or combined with photography. Combined packages save you money compared to booking each separately.

We are fully insured. Most London town halls and wedding venues require photographers to hold public liability insurance before they are allowed on site. We are covered for all of them.

How Much Does a Wedding Photographer Cost in the UK? (2025–2026 Guide)
According to Bridebook's 2026 Wedding Report, the average wedding photographer cost in the UK is £1,484. Most couples spend somewhere between £1,200 and £2,500 for a full day. Prices are highest in London and the South East typically £1,800 to £2,500 for a full day and lower in cities like Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds, where full-day packages often range from £800 to £1,500.
The biggest factor affecting wedding photography prices in the UK is the number of hours you need. A 2-hour registry office booking is a very different product to 10 hours covering the whole day. Most UK photographers price by package rather than by the hour, which means you often pay for hours you do not use. At HOBS FILMS we charge hourly so if you need 5 hours, you pay for 5 hours.
The second biggest factor is travel. Many UK wedding photographers advertise a low base price but add mileage costs on top. We include all UK travel in every package. Whether your wedding is in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bedfordshire, Surrey or anywhere else in England, Scotland or Wales the price you see is the price you pay.
Other things that add to the cost with some photographers: a second photographer (usually £300–£600 extra), a wedding album (usually £300 –£800 extra), an engagement shoot, drone footage or same-day editing. None of these are included in our packages by default but none of them are hidden in the price either. We are clear about what is and is not included before you book.
If you are looking for a cheap wedding photographer in the UK or a budget wedding photographer, the most important thing to check is what is actually included. A photographer quoting £700 who charges separately for travel, the gallery and extra hours can end up costing more than one quoting £900 with everything included.
At HOBS FILMS our wedding photography packages include edited photos, a private online gallery, full copyright, all UK travel and a written contract. The only extra cost is the £100 booking fee to secure your date which is deducted from your total. Nothing else is added at the end.
