Is 2 Hours Really Enough for a Wedding?
For most registry office weddings, town hall ceremonies, micro weddings, and intimate civil partnerships, yes, two hours is enough to cover everything that matters.
A typical registry office ceremony runs 20 to 30 minutes. That leaves time for your arrival, the full ceremony, a confetti or bubbles exit, family group photos, and a short couple portrait session at a spot nearby. Two hours covers all of that without rushing.
If you want getting-ready coverage, drinks reception, or speeches, our 3 and 4-hour packages extend seamlessly at the same hourly rate. And if the day overruns, we can simply add time on the day.
What We Actually Do
We work in a natural, documentary style. We stay quiet during your ceremony, move around without getting in the way, and photograph the real moments the reaction when you see each other, the exchange of vows, the tears, the laughs as they happen. No flash unless the room genuinely needs it.
For group shots and couple portraits, we keep things relaxed and quick. No long queues of people waiting in the sun. We get the shots you need, then let you get on with enjoying your day.

How a 2-Hour Wedding Actually Runs
Every wedding is different but this gives you a realistic picture of how two hours of photography works at a typical registry office or town hall ceremony.

Arrival & Guests
We arrive before you to get set up and photograph guests arriving, any details flowers, rings, buttonholes and the atmosphere outside before the ceremony begins.
0:15 – 0:45
The Ceremony
We photograph the full ceremony the entrance, vows, ring exchange, signing of the register, first kiss in a quiet, documentary style that does not distract you or your guests.
0:45 – 1:00
Exit, Confetti & Congratulations
The exit from the ceremony room confetti, bubbles, applause and candid shots of guests congratulating you. Often where some of the most natural and joyful photos happen.
1:00 – 1:30
Family Group Photos
We work through your family group list quickly. We recommend no more than 6 to 8 combinations for a two-hour booking, so there is enough time left for portraits without everyone standing around.
1:30 – 2:00
Couple Portraits
We take you to the best nearby spot the venue garden, a park, a street with good light for relaxed couple portraits. No forced posing. Just the two of you walking and talking while we photograph.

Who the 2-Hour Package Is Right For
Registry Office Weddings
Most UK registry office ceremonies run 20 to 30 minutes. Two hours gives you time for the arrival, the full ceremony, a confetti exit, family groups, and couple portraits all without rushing. We cover registry offices and register offices across London and the whole of the UK.
Town Hall Weddings
London's town halls are among the most photogenic ceremony venues in the country. We know the flow and timing of town hall weddings well ceremonies move quickly, which makes an experienced photographer essential. We know the best portrait spots outside most major London town halls.
Micro Weddings
A micro wedding is usually fewer than 20 guests sometimes just the two of you with two witnesses. Two hours is often all you need. We document what happens naturally and leave you to enjoy your day, without a photographer hovering all evening.
Elopements
Eloping with just the two of you and one or two witnesses? Our two-hour package is built for this. We can also act as a witness if needed. We keep it simple, discreet, and completely low pressure.
Civil Partnerships
We cover civil partnership ceremonies in exactly the same way as weddings. Same packages, same approach, same prices.
